Area Information

Cape Elizabeth is an approximately 15 square mile prominently extending south of Portland and South Portland and into the Atlantic Ocean.  The western shores join with the Town of Scarborough and mark the end of Saco Bay, and the Town's eastern shores define the entrance to Portland Harbor.

The 2000 census figures put the town's population at 9,068.
